On May 21, 2020, Football Kenya Federation (FKF) South Rift Branch Chairman David Bunei praised the current leadership of the federation under President Nick Mwendwa.
Bunei highlighted the significant improvement in transparency and accountability within the federation, crediting Mwendwa's administration for adhering to FIFA's accounting and budgeting rules.
"Over the last four years, we have seen the annual financial reports, including assets, which has led to no complaints from our members," Bunei said.
