Photographer Lukamba has found himself at the receiving end of Kenyan social media users after sharing a cartoon of Khaligraph Jones kneeling before him crying, begging for a photo.
According to reports, Khaligraph and Diamond Platnumz met at the Sound City Awards in Nigeria where Khaligraph won the best rapper in Africa award. They took a photo together, which was taken by Lukamba.
However, Khaligraph later asked Lukamba to send him the photo, but the photographer was reluctant. In a recent interview, Khaligraph spoke about the issue, but Lukamba's recent post sparked outrage.
Lukamba shared a cartoon with the caption 'Dah Sijafikia huku..Changamoto za card zinataka kunigombanisha na Kaka yangu OG @khaligraph_jones Bro siku Tukikutana yaani nakupiga album mzima na kupa hapo hapo #respecttheogs.'
Responding to the backlash, Lukamba denied that Diamond Platnumz asked him not to send the photo to Khaligraph. He claimed that Diamond respects Khaligraph so much and that photographers can agree that SD cards can sometimes cause issues.
Lukamba went on to say that he posted the cartoon on a lighter note and didn't expect Khaligraph to react that way. He later apologized for any offense caused, stating that he respects Khaligraph and didn't want to disrespect him.
It remains to be seen how Khaligraph will respond to Lukamba's apology, but one thing is certain - the incident has sparked a heated debate on social media.
