Published on May 21, 2020, Mzee Jackson Kibor's six sons have agreed to undergo DNA tests to confirm their paternity, but only if the tests are conducted at a government hospital.

The sons, Elkana Kipleting, Evans Kipkosgei, Ezekiel Kipng'etich, Eric Kipchumba, and Raymond Kibitok, have been at odds with their father over inheritance of his property, including a 1,250-acre land in Kabenes, Uasin Gishu County.

According to the sons, they will challenge a court ruling that granted Mzee Kibor full ownership of the land, and they also want the body of their late brother Edwin Kipkoech exhumed and subjected to a paternity test.

Mzee Kibor, on the other hand, has accused his sons of attempting to sell sections of the land, as they allegedly did with some of his other properties in Nairobi and Mombasa.

The sons' mother, Naomi Jeptoo, who was divorced by Mzee Kibor two years ago, has come out in support of her sons, saying she was shocked by Mzee Kibor's claims of questioning their paternity.

Jeptoo, who was married to Mzee Kibor in January 1975 and gave birth to their first son in October of the same year, has never cheated on her husband, she claims.
