Media personality Jalang'o and his friends have been at the center of a social media storm following the leak of their WhatsApp chats. The conversations, which have been circulating online, have sparked allegations of being sex pests.
However, Jalang'o has since addressed the matter, admitting that the chats belong to their WhatsApp group, which has been in existence for many years.
According to Jalang'o, the group was formed to help him build his YouTube channel during the COVID-19 pandemic. The group, which has been active for many years, has been used to discuss various topics, including business and personal matters.
Despite the allegations, Jalang'o maintains that the group was not formed to engage in any illicit activities. He also denies claims that the group was used to share women among its members.
Instead, Jalang'o claims that the group was a space for friends to relax and chat after work. He also accuses blogger Edgar Obare of having a personal vendetta against him and leaking the chats to damage his reputation.
“It is very evident that the blogger has a lot against me,” Jalang'o wrote in part. “He has been trying to write stories about me for a while now, and this latest leak is just another attempt to damage my reputation.”
Jalang'o also claims that the group has been unfairly judged and that the leak of the chats has caused significant damage to his reputation and business.
