Former NTV employee Larry Madowo has earned a Master's in Business & Economics Journalism from Columbia University in New York City. The degree was completed during his time as a Knight-Bagehot Fellow at Columbia Journalism.
On May 21, 2020, Madowo announced his graduation on social media, stating, "I just graduated virtually! Master’s in Business & Economics Journalism from @columbia in the bag. And finished with Knight-Bagehot Fellowship at @columbiajournalism. And my thesis won the 2020 Philip Greer Award for Financial Writing. I’m so grateful for all these blessings #RoarLions2020"
Colleagues and friends, including Victoria Rubadiri, Sheilah Mwanyigha, and others, congratulated Madowo on his achievement.
