Comedian Jalango Loses Business Deals After WhatsApp Group Chat Leak ¶
Comedian Jalango has spoken out about the impact of a leaked WhatsApp group chat on his business, claiming he has lost clients and business deals.
According to Jalango, the leaked chat has caused a significant backlash, with many people calling him to condemn him and his friends.
He stated that the group was a long-standing WhatsApp group that had been used for years, and that the leaked chat was taken out of context.
‘The past two days have been very rough for me and my close friends because of the chats from our WhatsApp group,’ Jalango wrote on Instagram.
He added that the group was not just a group of friends, but a group of people who had grown up together and had achieved a lot together.
‘We will not defend ourselves but this was just another random boys chat in a WhatsApp group,’ Jalango said.
He also accused YouTuber Edgar Obare of leaking the chat out of malice, stating that Obare had caused irreparable damage to his business and reputation.
‘What does it benefit you when you do all this? The damage you’ve CAUSED us can never be repaired Edgar,’ Jalango wrote.
He concluded by stating that the truth will set him and his friends free someday, and that they have learned a lot from the experience.
‘The truth will set us free someday for now all we have to do is try and put our heads up above this storm hoping it will soon pass,’ Jalango wrote.
