Published on May 21, 2020, gospel singer Size 8 has made it clear that she will not collaborate with gengetone artistes without certain conditions being met.
Speaking from a place of conviction, Size 8 emphasized that she values the message in a song above all else, including the artiste's popularity.
According to Size 8, any artiste she considers working with must first demonstrate a commitment to their faith by attending church.
Furthermore, the song itself must convey the word and spirit of God, with the message being the top priority.
“I wouldn’t consider working with them unless they first come to church and ask for a collaboration, and after that, we go to the studio to create music that carries the name of Jesus,” Size 8 said.
She went on to explain that the message in a song is what truly matters to her, and not the artiste's personal style or outlook.
“The word is the most important, not the person singing it. We Gospel artistes have been given two main tasks: to worship God in spirit and truth, and to spread the word of God,” Size 8 added.
