According to Apostle Paul in Galatians 6:7-8, 'Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows that will he also reap.' These powerful words remind us that our actions have consequences, and that we reap what we sow. In the context of Kenya, this means that we must address the issue of spiritual corruption that plagues our nation.
Paul's teachings are as relevant today as they were when he first wrote them. We see this in the widespread corruption that exists in our nation, from financial graft to the lack of faith we have in one another. The suspicion, deception, and judging looks that exist in our society are all symptoms of a deeper issue - a lack of unity and togetherness.
But it's not too late to change. As President Uhuru Kenyatta has invited people from across the political divide to unite the country, we must seize this opportunity to come together and work towards a common goal. The effects of the 2018 handshake between President Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga are beginning to bear fruits, and we must continue to build on this momentum.
As we navigate the challenges of the pandemic, let us remember the importance of unity and togetherness. Let us work towards creating a society where we can trust one another, where we can support each other, and where we can reap the rewards of heaven.
