Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has expressed his admiration for the team's physical and mental form after returning from the coronavirus lockdown.
On May 20, 2020, Zidane praised his players' individual training plans, saying, "The players have worked well from home and that's why they have come back on great form, this is going to be crucial."
With the team two points behind Barcelona in La Liga and trailing Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-final, Zidane remains optimistic about their chances.
As the 12-time European champions, Real Madrid are determined to win a trophy in their first full season under Zidane's leadership.
"After almost 60 days everyone is happy to get back here and catch up with each other, and to play some football, which is what they all love," Zidane said.
The team is now focused on their remaining eleven games and will do everything to be ready for the restart, with Zidane vowing to give it "absolutely everything to win something."
