Mombasa COVID-19 Cases Remain a Concern

As of May 20, 2020, Mombasa remains a hotspot for COVID-19 cases in Kenya. According to the Ministry of Health, the coastal city has reported 66 cases, with 30 of them being residents of Mombasa.

Speaking on the matter, Cabinet Secretary for Health, Mutahi Kagwe, noted that Mombasa continues to be a challenge in the fight against the pandemic. He emphasized the need for continued vigilance and adherence to public health measures to contain the spread of the virus.
