On May 19, 2020, Jambojet announced the extension of its suspension of flights to June 7, 2020, affecting both domestic and international routes.
The airline, a subsidiary of Kenya Airways, cited the Kenyan government's extension of movement restrictions in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kilifi, Kwale, and Mandera counties until June 7 as the reason for the suspension.
Passengers who had planned to travel during this period have been advised to reschedule their flights at no additional cost.
According to Jambojet, the value of tickets purchased before May 18, 2020, will remain valid for 12 months from that date.
This decision comes just a few months after Jambojet suspended flights to Kigali and Entebbe due to a decline in air travelers caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
