Comedian Jalango has been at the center of a major scandal following the leak of a WhatsApp screenshot that exposed his involvement in a group chat where he and his friends would lure single women into affairs and rank themselves based on who had sex with the most women.
The group, titled 'The Boy's Club', was made up of married men who would invite each other to try their luck with the women they had targeted.
As the news broke, netizens went into overdrive, criticizing Jalango and his friends for their actions. The comedian has since kept a low profile, but has addressed rumors that he has been fired from co-hosting the breakfast show on Milele FM.
However, Jalango has clarified that he is on a two-week leave, which began on the day the news broke, and has been posting videos of his stay on a rural farm.
On his Instagram, Jalango wrote, 'Happy new week! So to answer the many who are asking why I'm not on radio today…my 2 weeks leave begins today so my brother @alex_mwakideu is holding it down with the amazingly talented comedian @wambilianga_ke keep them company and tune in @milelefm!!'
