On May 20, 2020, renowned Tanzanian gospel singer Christina Shusho made headlines when she publicly expressed her admiration for socialites Hamisa Mobetto, Jacqueline Wolper, and Wema Sepetu.
Shusho, known for her gospel hits like Ninang´ara and Tenda Wema, featuring Kenyan artist Ringtone Apoko, revealed in an interview with Wasafi media that she looks forward to being friends with the three Tanzanian socialites.
According to Shusho, she admires the women's strength and resilience in the face of adversity, stating, 'Please, I beg, I need your friendship. If you accept, I will know that God has blessed me in 2020.'
Shusho further explained that she has been keeping an eye on the socialites and their lifestyles, praising their authenticity and commitment to their values. 'I follow their lifestyles. I cannot pretend that I have never come across their stories. They are the ones that are dominating social media and are trending. I love that they stand by their word and action. I love the spirit.'
Despite not agreeing with their choice of dressing, Shusho expressed her appreciation for the socialites' efforts to dress more decently during the holy month. 'Right now, they are decent. If they go on this way, it will be good. It should be a little bit decent. They should know that I love them and that I'm their number one fan. I love their efforts.'
