Published on May 20, 2020, Multichoice Kenya has appointed Nancy Matimu as its new CEO, effective December last year. Matimu took over from Eric Odipo, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her previous role as Mastercard Vice President and Head of Market Development in Sub-Saharan Africa.

According to Maharage Chande, Multichoice Northern Africa Regional Director, Matimu's appointment is a strategic move to provide customers with more of their favorite content, delivering unmatched value and aligning with the company's corporate culture.

Matimu holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Strathmore University and has a Bachelor's degree in Planning and Management from Kenyatta University, class of 1998. Her impressive career spans notable companies such as Safaricom, Airtel, HF Group, and Mastercard.

As a high-performing commercial leader, Matimu has over 20 years of experience in leading and directing growth through business transformation, capacity building, and sales and operational excellence in ICT, Telecommunications, and Financial Services.
