On May 17, 2020, SAVI Empire PLC announced on their Facebook page that the 5-bedroom house in Runda, Nairobi, used as a filming location for the TV show Maria, was being sold.

The house, which boasts an elegant 5-bedroom all ensuite design, was moved to a new location due to the owners' decision to sell it.

According to Mr. William Hausa, the move was necessary to provide Sophia, the show's character, with a different atmosphere to heal and an opportunity to bond with her estranged husband, Luwi Hausa.

However, the real reason behind the move was the owners' desire to sell the property, which is valued at Ksh 150 million.

As reported by MPasho, the producers of the show had to find a new location to film, and they eventually settled on a different mansion.

Here are some of the key features of the property:

  • 5-bedroom all ensuite
  • 2 elegant living rooms with fire place
  • Enough separated dinning room
  • Two kitchen with pantry
  • Large family room
  • Balconies and verandas
  • DSQ for 2
  • Back up generator room
  • Large store
  • Guard's cabin
  • Sitting on 0.7 acres
  • Long drive
  • Fitted with chandeliers and full fitted kitchen and washing machine

As seen in the photos below, the property is a stunning example of luxury living.
