On May 20, 2020, Embakasi East MP Hon Babu Owino defended comedian and radio presenter Felix Odiwuor, alias Jalang'o, against allegations of infidelity.
According to Owino, Jalang'o is a responsible individual driven by the core values of a development-oriented society.
He dismissed claims circulating on social media aimed at tarnishing Jalang'o's reputation, urging the public to treat them as false.
Owino explained that Jalang'o is one of his long-time allies and that he knew what Jalang'o was capable of and what he was not.
He pointed out that the masses criticizing Jalang'o were either jealous, mad, or both, and that Kenyans have a peculiar way of pulling down renowned personalities through cruel and inhuman actions.
He urged Jalang'o to ignore the hostile claims and focus on his work.
