On May 19, 2020, APA Insurance unveiled the APA Insurance Happiness app, a digital platform designed to revolutionize motor insurance services in Kenya.
The free app allows customers to make timely motor insurance purchases, renewals, and report claims on their mobile devices, providing them with convenience and flexibility.
Additionally, the app enables customers to file claims, access up-to-date records, and locate countrywide partner garages in case of an accident.
The app also empowers agents with a premium calculator, agent account management, pre-insurance inspection, and renewal capabilities, making them more effective and efficient in their interactions with clients and potential clients.
According to Vinod Bharatan, CEO of APA Insurance, the launch of the app is strategic, given the shift towards digital channels in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need for social distancing.
"The launch of the app is strategic as many of our clients and agents switch to remote working, in line with the Government advice for people to work from home. The app provides peace of mind and flexibility for changing circumstances," said Bharatan.
