As the world slowly returns to normal, Apple has taken a significant step by reopening over 25 stores in the U.S. and 12 in Canada. This move comes after the company had initially closed its stores due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to a letter to customers from Deirdre O'Brien, Apple's senior vice president for retail and people, the company is committed to ensuring the safety of its customers and employees. To achieve this, Apple has implemented various measures, including temperature checks at the door, face coverings for all employees, and a requirement for customers to wear face coverings unless they are provided with one by the company.

Apple has also emphasized the importance of one-to-one service throughout each store, allowing customers to receive personalized attention from staff. The company has also continued to refine and expand its in-store health and safety measures, which have proven effective in places like Greater China where its stores have been safely open for months.

As part of its reopening strategy, Apple will also be conducting enhanced deep cleanings throughout the day, with a special emphasis on all surfaces, display products, and highly trafficked areas. This move is aimed at providing a safe and healthy environment for its customers and employees.
