Published on May 18, 2020, Kenya's coronavirus cases have risen to 912 after 25 people tested positive in the last 24 hours.
According to Health CAS Rashid Aman, tests were conducted on 1,139 samples, comprising 23 males and two females, with the youngest being 22 years old and the oldest 50 years old.
There were no reported deaths, and the cumulative tally remains at 50.
On a positive note, 22 people were discharged from hospital, raising the number of recoveries to 336.
So far, 44,851 people have been tested in the country.
The CAS urged residents of areas with restricted movement to continue observing containment measures, emphasizing the importance of social distancing, handwashing, and wearing masks.
He also announced that 53 truck drivers had tested positive for Covid-19 at the Kenya-Tanzania border, all of whom were referred back to Tanzania.
