Kenya has recorded a significant rise in Covid-19 cases, with the total tally now standing at 912, according to Health Chief Administrative Secretary Rashid Aman on May 18, 2020.

The latest cases were reported in Taita Taveta, Garissa, and Meru counties, marking the first instances of Covid-19 in these regions.

Of the 25 new cases, 23 are men and two are women, all between the ages of 22 and 50.

So far, Kenya has tested 44,851 samples, with Dr Aman confirming the latest numbers.
