May 18, 2020 - DJ Evolve's Instagram account sparked a wave of speculation last weekend after a post was shared, leading many to believe that the DJ was finally recovering and ready to return to the entertainment scene.
However, it has since been revealed that the post was made by someone else, who had misinformed the public. According to reports, the same individual may have also shared a post on B Club's Instagram, welcoming Elvove back to the party life.
Thanks to Mpasho's follow-up on the story, we now understand that DJ Evolve is still in hospital, but has been moved to the general ward where he is receiving his treatment.
As reported by Mpasho, DJ Evolve's father, John Orinda, has spoken out about his son's condition, stating that the 24-year-old is still paralyzed from the face down.
Mr. Orinda revealed that the bill for DJ Evolve's medical treatment has accumulated to Ksh 16 million, with only Ksh 5 million having been settled by Babu Owino.
Speaking to the press, Mr. Orinda said, 'He is still in hospital and as we speak, I'm in the ward with him. The bill is still too high. Babu paid only sh5 million of the 16 million bill.'
Mr. Orinda also shared that DJ Evolve's upper body has been responding well, but his lower body remains unresponsive. He added that the family is hopeful that everything will go as planned.
Mr. Orinda also shared a personal update on DJ Evolve's condition, stating that he has been moved to the general ward but cannot sit. He also revealed that DJ Evolve's upper body is okay, his hands can move, and he can talk, but he has a pipe in his oesophagus to pass out mucus, which prevents him from talking when it's inside. His legs, however, remain unresponsive.
