On May 18, 2020, a disturbing incident of domestic violence took place in Tharaka Nithi, where a man allegedly sealed his wife's private parts with super glue out of insecurity.
According to the woman's account to the police, her husband arrived home and demanded to know how many men she had slept with while he was away. He then ordered her out of the house and took her to a nearby river, where he threatened to kill her if she didn't strip naked.
Despite her hesitation, the woman was eventually forced to remove her clothes, and the suspect sprayed pepper, salt, and super glue on her vagina while using a knife to push it inside. The woman also claimed that her husband then sealed her ears and mouth with super glue and sand before leaving her at the scene.
The police have launched a manhunt for the suspect, who is currently on the run. The woman is being treated in hospital for her injuries and is in a serious condition.
