On May 18, 2020, Arsenal announced they would be dealing with striker Alexandre Lacazette internally after he was spotted inhaling nitrous oxide from a balloon.

Lacazette, a Frenchman, had sent a video to friends saying he was 'at home, chilling and doing balloons', according to the Daily Star.

This is not the first time Lacazette has been in trouble for his behavior. In 2018, he was warned by the club after video footage emerged of him and teammates Mesut Özil, Matteo Guendouzi, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang inhaling the gas in a nightclub.

"This is a private matter which we are taking seriously. It will be handled internally," said an Arsenal spokesman.

Lacazette has also been reminded of his responsibilities recently for flouting lockdown guidelines by not social distancing while having his car valeted on his driveway.
