On a weekend of giving back, Wahu made a significant impact at the Lang'ata Women's Prison. The event, organized under the Clean Start umbrella, saw Wahu and other women leaders, including Lucy Karume and Gloria Ndekei of KEPSA, hand over 200 care packs to former inmates.

Wahu took to Instagram to share photos of the event, but not before a fan, aishaelias1696, questioned the use of cameras, asking, 'What are cameras for???? Mkipeana vitu za maana mnaweza tumia camera.'

Wahu responded graciously, stating, 'cameras are for appreciating partners who support an initiative, and also to encourage others corporates and individuals to do what they can. Dont be so negative. You only see what I let you see. There’s a lot which you dont know because it doesnt need to be known.'

Wahu's generosity is just one of many examples of Kenyan celebrities giving back to their communities. Others, such as Nyota Ndogo, Akothee, and many more, are also making a positive impact.
