On May 17, 2020, rumors began circulating that Queen Darleen, a Tanzanian singer and sister to Diamond Platnumz, was pregnant.
However, Darleen has denied these claims, stating that she would reveal any pregnancy at the right time.
Her sister Esma Khan had seemingly confirmed the pregnancy in a comment on a video of Darleen with her husband, Tanzanian tycoon Isihaka Mtoro, saying 'ALAFU HII MIMBA INAANZA KUKUKONDESHA UJUE UMEPUNGUA KIDOGO' (The pregnant has started to make you grow thin, you have reduced weight).
But Darleen was quick to respond, saying 'I AM NOT PREGNANT. WHERE IS THE PREGNANCY? THERE ARE THINGS THAT ARE GOOD TO BE SAID BUT ARE ALSO NOT SUPPOSED TO BE SAID. BUT WHEN THE TIME COMES, I WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW. AND IF I AM PREGNANT, THEY WILL SEE' and 'I CANNOT HOLD MY MUSIC JUST BECAUSE I AM PREGNANT. PREGNANCY IS NOT A DISEASE.'
