On January 17, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino shot DJ Evolve, whose real name is Felix Orinda, in the neck at B Club. The disc jockey spent the better part of the first quarter of this year in the hospital.

According to sources, DJ Evolve left the hospital a few days ago. The two were close friends, and the controversial politician was forced to offset his hospital bill.

After his discharge, DJ Evolve shared an old video of himself on the decks playing during one of his 'gigs.' He captioned the video, 'Still have a long way to go but i'll be back..Thank you all for the well wishes💯.'

B-Club, where DJ Evolve was employed, also announced his discharge from the hospital. The club's Instagram page posted, 'Welcome back home KING @dj_evolve (lowkey assasin), we can't wait to dance to your vibe once this lockdown is over.'
