On May 16th, 2020, Tecra Muigai was laid to rest in a private burial ceremony at her father's home in Naivasha, Nakuru County.
Her burial followed a tragic incident on May 2nd, 2020, when she fell and was airlifted to a Nairobi hospital for treatment, where she sadly passed away.
The ceremony was attended by family, close friends, and a few dignitaries, including Honourable Raila Odinga.
Despite the private nature of the burial, the family of Omar Lali, Tecra's boyfriend, was granted permission to attend and pay their last respects.
