As a parent, there's no greater joy than seeing your child succeed and thrive in their academic pursuits. But for one mother, that joy turned to despair when her son, Alex, joined campus and became embroiled in a world of addiction and bad behavior.
It started with whispers from Alex's friends that he was taking drugs and associating with unsavory characters. But it wasn't until the mother received a call from the school that her son had become a 'dangerous alcoholic' that she realized the gravity of the situation.
Desperate to reach her son, the mother tried calling him, but he refused to answer. Her husband even visited the school, but Alex was too drunk to meet with him. The family was at a loss, unsure of how to help their son who had once been a good and responsible young man.
After a stint in rehab, Alex returned to his old ways, and things only got worse. He was suspended from campus for beating up a lecturer while drunk. The mother was on the verge of giving up, but a friend recommended a traditional herbalist named Doctor Mugwenu who claimed to have the power to help Alex overcome his addiction.
The mother was skeptical, but desperate for a solution, she agreed to meet with Doctor Mugwenu. The herbalist cast a spell, and three days later, Alex called his mother, tearfully apologizing for his behavior and vowing to never drink again. He has since returned to his studies and is doing well.
The mother credits Doctor Mugwenu with saving her son's life and is now advocating for others who may be struggling with similar issues to seek out the herbalist's help.
