With the countrywide curfew set to begin at 7pm, Kenyans are bracing themselves for a new reality in the fight against COVID-19. The hashtag #EpukaCorona, which has been trending for the better part of Friday, is a well-coordinated campaign aimed at raising awareness about the importance of social distancing in saving lives.

As the clock ticks closer to the magic hour, anxiety is rising, and many are taking to social media to express their concerns. In a statement, one Twitter user, @HezronKorir_, said, 'Our business are at stake, Our children not in school every activity has been altered but if we make the sacrifice of staying home for a little time we will fight this disease and get back to our normal routine.'

Reactor Review understands that the #EpukaCorona campaign is not just about staying at home, but also about practicing social distancing and observing good hygiene. With no vaccine or cure for COVID-19, the only way to stop the spread of the virus is by taking these precautions.

As the world grapples with the pandemic, many countries, including Pakistan, have implemented complete lockdowns to prevent the spread of the virus. While the situation in Kenya is not as dire, the government's decision to impose a curfew is a clear indication of the severity of the situation.

Published on May 17, 2020, at 04:05:16 AM, this article highlights the importance of unity and cooperation in the fight against COVID-19. As Kenyans, it is our collective responsibility to take the necessary precautions to protect ourselves and our loved ones.
