Emmy Kosgei, a gospel minister, has been at the center of controversy after making comments about Kalenjin men's dating habits in an online interview.
Published on May 16, 2020, the interview sparked a heated debate, with many criticizing her for her views.
However, in a surprising turn of events, four Kalenjin men have approached her for a serious relationship after she got married to her Nigerian husband, Anselm Madubuko.
According to Kosgei, the men are afraid of expressing their feelings until it's too late, and she believes this is a common problem in the community.
She explained, 'An example is a pan, you feel like having it but you do not put it in action and when the pan is taken away by another person, you start questioning why.'
Despite the backlash, Kosgei has chosen to focus on inspiring and motivating her fans on social media.
She wrote, 'In this life I have learnt that Every battle is not to be fought...not all calls are to be answered... master the art of inquiring of God, the Lord of battles...some he allows for his glory, he knows the source and how to handle.'
Her fans have since rallied around her, with many expressing their support and encouragement.
