On May 15, 2020, Kenya confirmed 23 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of positive cases to 781.
The new cases comprised five females and 18 males, all aged between 24 and 84 years.
Health Chief Administrative Secretary Rashid Aman announced the new cases, stating that 11 were reported in Nairobi, five in Mombasa, three in Kajiado, and two each in Wajir and Kiambu.
Two of the new cases in Kajiado were truck drivers.
Dr. Aman also announced that three more patients had succumbed to the disease, bringing the total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country to 45.
