South African rapper Nasty C has ventured into acting, making his debut in Netflix's upcoming series 'Blood and Water'. The 23-year-old rapper took to social media to share the exciting news with his fans.

According to his Instagram post, Nasty C will be part of the African series premiering on May 20. The series, directed by Nosipho Dumisa, tells the story of a young girl who investigates the 17-year-old cold case of her older sister who was abducted at birth.

The series features a host of stars, including Ama Qamata, Natasha Thahane, Cindy Mahlangu, Thabang Molaba, and Gail Mabalane. Nasty C will play the role of a music producer, a natural fit given his real-life profession.

On the series' soundtrack, Nasty C recorded a track, calling it an exciting project. He expressed his pride in being part of the soundtrack, which features dope artists.

Earlier this week, Nasty C confessed on Instagram live with Dallas-based Kenyan DJ Poizon Ivy that he still hopes for Camp Mulla's reunion. He also paid homage to Khaligraph Jones as a respected OG.

However, the rapper has been in the news for his views on Nelson Mandela, stating that he considers some conspiracy theories regarding the former president to be true. In an interview with VLAD TV, Nasty C insinuated that the real Nelson Mandela died in prison.
