On May 15, 2020, Lilian Muli found herself at the receiving end of a hurtful comment from a fan named Makori Malema. The fan had left a comment on Muli's post celebrating her friend Pastor Burale, calling her a 'psycho' due to her past marriage to a man from Kisii.
Makori's comment, which included a photo of Muli, read: 'Indeed our Kisii Community Husband Made you a psycho lol.'
Muli was not one to take the comment lying down. She responded by calling out Makori, saying: 'So i usually delete such crap and move on! But let me make this sissy famous! Excuse me Toad come and say this to my face idiot! I hate spite and i hate mean people. Sorry bro i’m not the one who hurt you. How is this in any way something you should post coz i wished my friend a Happy Birthday!'
After being publicly called out, Makori was forced to issue an apology. Muli accepted the apology but with a warning, saying: 'Ndienda wana. Also i can be so petty when i am upset! Good manners dont cost anything…Apology accepted!'
It seems Makori was not prepared to face this other side of Lilian Muli, and from now on, he will likely think twice before making the same mistake.
