On May 15, 2020, Kenya's Covid-19 cases continued to rise, with 23 new infections confirmed, taking the total number of cases to 781.
The new cases comprised five females and 18 males, all aged between 24 and 84 years.
Health Chief Administrative Secretary Rashid Aman announced the new cases, stating that 11 were reported in Nairobi, five in Mombasa, three in Kajiado, while Wajir and Kiambu recorded two each.
The ministry conducted tests on 2,100 samples, discovering the new cases, including two truck drivers who tested positive in Kajiado.
Dr. Aman also announced that three more patients had succumbed to the disease, bringing the total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country to 45.
