On Thursday, May 14, 2020, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Serious Crime detectives made a significant breakthrough in their fight against electronic fraud.
At Highpoint residential area in Juja town, the detectives arrested three suspects, including university students Ian Kinanga and Jefferson Bosire, as well as Kevin Oroko, a software developer at a local bank.
During the operation, the detectives recovered a substantial amount of evidence, including over 400 sim cards, 8 national ID cards, 2 laptops, and 4 mobile phones.
According to the DCI, the trio will be charged upon completion of investigations.
