On their family YouTube channel, Celestine Ndinda, wife to comedian Njugush, shared her hilarious and nerve-wracking experience meeting her husband's parents for the first time.

It all started during Njugush's graduation in 2013, where Celestine had no idea his parents would be in attendance, making it a baptism by fire.

'It was his graduation and he told me that his parents weren’t coming,' Celestine recalled.

However, after the graduation, Celestine saw Njugush with his parents, and the moment was awkward, especially since she was looking for his sibling and didn't see him.

Adding to the awkwardness, Celestine's husband's father, a reverend, asked Njugush about his plans for her, and they were in a hotel at the time, making things even more uncomfortable.

But, in a surprising turn of events, Njugush's parents invited Celestine to their home in December, where they would cook chicken for her.

However, when Celestine was invited for a second time to meet the parents, she was prepared, but Njugush and his dad still laughed at her answers, including when she said her mother had a garden at home.

Despite the initial awkwardness, the two are now married and blessed with a son.
