On May 14, 2020, a heated feud between Weezdom and Mr Seed made headlines in the Kenyan music scene. The two artists, once friends, have been at odds for some time, with Weezdom frequently criticizing Mr Seed's music.
During an interview with Chatspot presenters, Weezdom took a swipe at Mr Seed's latest song, claiming it was no longer making sense and that Mr Seed's career was on the decline. Weezdom even went so far as to ask the presenter to name Mr Seed's new song, only to reveal that none of them knew the title.
Mr Seed, however, has a different story to tell. He claims that his YouTube channel was hacked, resulting in the deletion of his song 'Ogopa Mungu'. In a statement on his Instagram page, Mr Seed wrote, 'My YouTube Channel has been Hacked. A while back I have been receiving notifications on my YouTube Channel that someone has been trying to log in but with no avail. Waking today and getting my New Song OGOPA MUNGU deleted is heartbreaking and saddening to my hard work.'
Mr Seed has since uploaded his songs to the Starborn Empire Channel, pending the resolution of his YouTube channel issue. This incident comes on the heels of a similar complaint by his wife, Nimo, who accused a pseudo account of sending hate messages about their son, Gold.
The feud between Weezdom and Mr Seed has taken a personal turn, with fans of both artists weighing in on social media. As the drama unfolds, one thing is certain: the Kenyan music scene is abuzz with excitement and speculation.
