May 14, 2020 - Tanzanian singer Zuchu has spoken out about the recent breakup of Diamond and Tanasha, denying rumors that she was the cause of their split.
After being unveiled as the latest signee to Wasafi Records, Zuchu found herself at the center of speculation that she was involved with Diamond, with some even suggesting that she was the reason for the breakup of his relationship with Tanasha.
However, in an interview with Tanzania's Wikienda, Zuchu denied any involvement in the breakup, stating that she had been warned by her mother about the dangers of social media and the impact it can have on one's reputation.
'I was warned by my mother that netizens can lead me astray and stop me from achieving my dreams,' Zuchu said. 'Don't believe everything that's being said because there's freedom of expression and people say what they want to.'
She also clarified that she was not involved in Tanasha's relationship with Diamond, stating that she was at Wasafi Records for work only.
'I was not involved in Tanasha's relationship with Diamond. I'm at Wasafi for work only,' Zuchu said.
Despite the rumors, Zuchu remains focused on her music career, stating that she has dreams to pursue and nothing, not even men, are going to stop her.
'I need to pursue my dreams and don't have time for people who want to break my heart,' Zuchu said. 'Most importantly, I respect all my bosses at WCB and I also respect Diamond and Tanasha.'
