On an unspecified date in 2020, hundreds of youth in Kiambiu slums and South B took to the streets to protest against unpaid Kazi Mtaani work.
According to reports, the youth had been working on various projects under the Kazi Mtaani initiative, which aims to provide temporary employment to young people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, despite their hard work, the youth claim that they have not received any payment for their services.
As a result, they staged a protest to demand payment for their unpaid work.
