Diamond Platnumz's Luxury Watch Sparks Debate

On May 14, 2020, Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz took to social media to flaunt his alleged KSh 25 million Richard Mille watch, sparking a heated debate among his fans.

The watch, reportedly a fake, is a replica of the RM011 Felipe Massa model, which is valued at USD 244,000, equivalent to KSh 24.4 million.

However, some fans were quick to question the authenticity of the watch, with some even joking that it was a counterfeit.

One fan, makorijesse, commented, 'So hio ni 14 billion Tanzania Shs😂😂😂.'

Another fan, julienjorogee, said, 'Inasoma the same time just like everyone else’s watch….anyway pesa muhimu😊.'

Despite the controversy surrounding the watch, Diamond Platnumz has not commented on the issue.

It's worth noting that this is not the first time Diamond Platnumz has been accused of flaunting fake luxury items. In October 2019, he was spotted wearing a fake Phillipe Patek 5711/1R – Nautilus Self Winding watch worth KSh 13 million.

As for the watch in question, it's clear that Diamond Platnumz is not concerned about the authenticity of his luxury items, as he continues to flaunt them on social media.

With a reported net worth of KSh 500 million, Diamond Platnumz is certainly one of the wealthiest musicians in East Africa.

However, his love for luxury items has also made him a target for trolls and critics, who accuse him of being insensitive to the struggles of his fans.

As the debate surrounding the watch continues, one thing is clear: Diamond Platnumz is not afraid to show off his wealth and status on social media.
