Uncle Shamte's passing was announced on social media by his wife, Mama Dangote, and his stepson, Uncle Shamte, who shared a heartfelt post expressing their grief.
"Inna Lillahi wa inaa ilayhi rajuin (For sure we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return)," Uncle Shamte captioned the post, which included the date of his father's death, May 14, 2020.
His wife, Mama Dangote, stood by his side during this difficult time, sharing the same post and offering her condolences to their loved ones.
Despite the challenges they have faced in their relationship, Diamond Platnumz's mother and Uncle Shamte have been together for a while, and their bond is evident in their shared grief.
As they come to terms with their loss, the family is preparing to bid farewell to Uncle Shamte, who will be buried in accordance with the Ismaili custom.
