On May 13, 2020, Barcelona announced that forward Ousmane Dembele had passed a coronavirus test, enabling him to continue his recovery from a hamstring injury at the club's training ground.

Dembele, who joined Barcelona in 2017 for a deal worth up to 147 million euros, has struggled with injuries throughout his time in Spain.

He underwent surgery on his right hamstring in February and was initially expected to be out for around six months.

However, he suffered a relapse on February 3 after returning to training, forcing him to undergo further treatment.

With the Spanish football league potentially set to resume on June 12, Dembele's return to training is a positive development for the club.
