On May 14, 2020, Tecra Muigai, the heiress to the Keroche Breweries empire, was found unresponsive at the bottom of a staircase in her home in Shela, Lamu.
According to a preliminary autopsy report, Tecra lost her life after sustaining severe injuries on the left side of her head, which are consistent with a fall down the stairs.
Chief Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor, who conducted the autopsy at Nairobi's Lee Funeral Home, revealed that the injuries are consistent with a fall down the stairs.
Detectives investigating the death claim Tecra fell in her home, and her boyfriend, Omar Lali, is still in police custody.
The investigations are still underway, and the cause of Tecra's death remains a mystery.
