Autopsy Reveals Cause of Tecra's Death ¶
Tecra Muigai, the heiress to Keroche Breweries, died from injuries sustained on the left side of her head, according to preliminary autopsy reports conducted on April 12th, 2022, at Nairobi's Lee Funeral Home.
Chief Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor stated that the injuries are consistent with a fall down the stairs.
Lawyer James Orengo represented the Keroche family during the postmortem.
As part of the investigation, the team is scheduled to meet doctors from Nairobi Hospital who handled Tecra in her last moments.
They will also study the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans captured at the hospital, as reported by People's Daily.
Additionally, toxicology tests, including blood and urine samples, will be carried out to determine if there were other substances present in her body before she fell down the stairs.
According to Homicide Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters, the deceased might have fallen off the 9-foot stairs that is inclined at an angle of 45 degrees.
Meanwhile, Tecra is set to be laid to rest in Naivasha in a private family ceremony.
