On May 14, 2020, Little, a Kenyan ride-hailing company, marked a significant milestone in its expansion plans by launching operations in Eldoret and Nyeri.
The company's vision is to become the leading Pan African mobility company, and this move is a step towards achieving that goal. Residents of Eldoret and Nyeri can now request rides using the Little app, dial 826#, or send a message on WhatsApp, all at a rate of Sh27 per kilometer.
According to Little CEO Kamal Budhabhatti, 'Safe, efficient, and reliable mobility is the heartbeat of our business.' He added that the company is committed to serving more Kenyans across the country, one county at a time.
Little has been at the forefront of providing essential services during the COVID-19 pandemic, including cab services during curfew hours. The company has also taken measures to ensure the safety of its drivers and customers, such as providing virtual contactless training and onboarding of drivers, and ensuring that cabs are thoroughly cleaned after every three rides.
Since its inception in 2016, Little has grown to serve six counties in Kenya and has expanded its operations to Uganda, Tanzania, and Zambia. The company plans to expand to more countries in the coming quarter.
