Published on May 14, 2020, President Uhuru Kenyatta's warning shot to Jubilee Party leaders has sent shockwaves through the party's ranks.

Among those caught in the crossfire are Jubilee Chief Whip Benjamin Washiali and Majority Leader Aden Duale, who have been vocal supporters of Deputy President William Ruto.

However, in a surprising turn of events, Washiali and Duale have pledged their support to President Kenyatta, citing their commitment to his development agenda.

Speaking from his home in Mumias, Washiali denied allegations that he had undermined the President, stating that he had always supported Kenyatta's bills in parliament.

President Kenyatta's purge of the Tanga Tanga wing of the Jubilee Party has been ongoing, with several leaders facing the axe for their perceived disloyalty.
