On the night of Wednesday, 13 May, a disturbing incident unfolded at the home of Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli in Barnet, north London. The property, where Alli has been isolating with his brother and others, was targeted by two males who broke in and stole jewellery, including watches.

According to police, the robbers assaulted Alli, punching him in the face. Fortunately, the England international did not suffer any serious injuries. The police were called at approximately 00:35hrs on Wednesday, 13 May, and an investigation is ongoing.

Police confirmed that one male occupant of the property, aged in his 20s, suffered a minor facial injury during the assault. He did not require hospital treatment. The police are still looking for the perpetrators and have not made any arrests yet.

It is worth noting that Alli's property is covered by CCTV, and the footage has been passed on to the police to aid in their investigation. Alli is due to return to training with his Tottenham team-mates as the Premier League prepares to restart on June 12.
