Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's highly anticipated tell-all biography, Finding Freedom, is set to be released in August, but the Duchess of Sussex is reportedly eager to bring the publication date forward.

According to a friend of the couple, Meghan believes the book will 'finally set the record straight' on their decision to leave senior royal life in March and start a new life in the United States.

The book, written by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, promises to reveal unknown details about the couple and dispel the many rumors and misconceptions that have plagued them in Britain and North America.

Palace insiders have previously suggested that the book will paint the couple in a flattering light and become something of a score-settling exercise.

However, Meghan is said to be desperate to show the world why she and Harry were left with no other choice than to leave their royal lives behind, and to shatter the image of her being a demanding diva.

She hopes the book will reveal the 'monumental anguish and turmoil' she has endured, and that readers will feel sorry for her and have compassion for her and all she's been through.
