On May 13, 2020, Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz made a generous announcement that has left many in awe. His media house, Wasafi Media, will be giving out a brand-new Toyota Alteza to Tanzanian youths monthly, paying their monthly water bill for a month, and providing a wardrobe makeover.

The singer, who has been known for his charitable deeds, said that the move is aimed at inspiring talented yet idle youth in the country. He announced that all they need to do is to tune in to Wasafi FM's show The Switch, take part in a call-in trivia, and stand a chance to win the aforementioned goodies.

He went ahead and gave an analogy of how ambitious Youth can take advantage of the competition and change their lives for the better, giving an example of taxi business that the lucky winners can seize the opportunity and maximize on.
