On May 13, 2020, Stanbic Bank's flagship women's proposition DADA announced a significant partnership with Rotary District 9212 to combat the spread of COVID-19 in Kenya.

The partnership involves investing in 700 sanitation stations across the country, worth approximately Sh3 million, which were handed over to the Rotary District 9212 Emergency Response Team in Nairobi.

According to Tom Bisonga, Head of Business Banking at Stanbic Bank Kenya, the sanitation stations will play a crucial role in stopping the spread of the virus.

Dr. Joe Kamau, chairman of the Rotary District 9212 Emergency Response Team, expressed gratitude for the support, stating, 'We are pleased with the support received today. Our country is at a critical juncture in the fight against COVID 19 and we must all come together to strengthen the response effort to save lives.'

Stanbic Bank Foundation's contribution to enhancing Kenya's COVID-19 response has now surpassed Sh137 million, making it one of the boldest strategic investments in Kenya's private sector.
